Materials & Techniques Used
- Base Layer: The entire pebble is coated with a textured, metallic silver base to give the background a vibrant Metallic sheen.
- Line Work: The bold, elegant outline of the dragonfly and the delicate swirling trails make the design pop at night using glow in the dark luminescent mediums.
- Wing Fill: Then added a colourful, metallic sheen within the wings is created using giving it a stained-glass appearance that shifts color in the light.
- Finishing: The stone is sealed with a thick gloss top coat to protect the paint, the design and make the metallic colors pop more, to their full potential.
